Telugu woman tops India Festival Dance In Florida

Telugu woman tops India Festival Dance competion of 2013 in Tampa, Florida.

Indian girls are known for their beauty and brains, but group of telugu girls topped the India Festival Bollywood Dance competition, leaving behind all the  contestants, for their talent in Bollywood dance style. They won the best costume and stood first in the Bollywood Fusion of 2013. 

10,000 Floridians attended the Indian Festival held in Florida State Fairgrounds on Saturday 20th,2013 in Tampa,Florida.

Infact, this is the first Teugu American group to be chosen to be the winner of India Feast Competion in 26 years of Florida. Representing Telugu community in the competition, this group is the first Telugu Adult Group of Telugu Indian descent to win the Bollywood competition part of India Feast in Florida.

Participants/Winners group includes Veena Talla, Anuradha Kommareddy, Swapna Thota, Sraavani Nikkalapudi, Paru, Sangeetha. Veena Talla added that, she believes " Success is not Final, Failure is not Fatal, It is the courage to continue which only matters" and this win brings pride to our telugu families and Nation. She thanked 2,000 telugu families who participated,encouraged them during the event.

It’s these amazing ladies who are multi-skilled and multi-talented, from being home executives, career women or just having answers to the simplest of questions that make them women of stature. Veena Talla added that, she believes " Success is not Final , Failure is not Fatal, It is the courage to continue which only matters" and this bring pride to our Nation.

These women are savvy, goal-oriented and aware, The delegates who become part of the group display those characteristics in their everyday lives, both as individuals, who compete with hope of advancing their careers, personal and humanitarian goals, and as women who seek to improve the lives of others. They said,they love the south indian classical dance, and want to encourage their children to promote Indian Culture as well. Each of them are the mothers of two children atleast and some of the kids did participate in the jounior catagories and won some prizes. 

Florida Indian community leader and Philongtropist Dr.Rao Eemandi, Event Chair Satya Shah, Dr.Kiran Patel, TANA President Mohan Nannapaneni, ATA President Karunakar Madhavaram, local Telugu personalities Dr.Parimi, Chandu Talla, Srinivas Jarugula, Phanidra Tirupathi, Srinvas Guttikonda, Sridhar Vallampatla, Rama Kommireddy, Veera Reedy, Dr.Ramappa congratulated the winners.
