Los Angeles: On March 30th, TASC(Telugu Association of Southern California) 2013 Ugadi & Sreeramanavami celebrations kick off meeting has been organized by TASC 2013 EC and Team members at Gandhi palace.
The meeting had begun with Radio Tori "Question Hour" by Radio Jackie Seetha with TASC President Nagesh. He answered all the questions asked by the audience and also invited all the disappointed members to come back to the organization. He emphasized that the present EC will always stand by promising words and go by transparency and opportunity for everyone. This question hour has been very helpful in ruling out all the gossips whirling in the community.
The kick off meeting went on very well with lot of enthusiastic guests and especially the response from the women is very encouraging. All the attendees have actively participated in the meeting and they have all expressed their views and expectations on the upcoming event. Many valuable suggestions from themembers have been taken into consideration. President elect Prasad Rani, Secretary Mallik Reddy and Treasurer Bayapa Reddy have also clearly explained the objectives of TASC for the year 2013.
After careful review of the interests and opinions of the enthusiasts, the EC has announced the key appointments. Savithri Dance Academy head Dr.Sindhuri as the Cultural Advisor, Mr. Raja Aysola as Officer on Special Duty ( TASC OSD ) who will coordinate with all the past presidents and give appraisal to president as and when required. Sita as Media Chair, Bharathi Naidu Membership co chair and News letter co chair, Jaipal Reddy Community services , Venu Reddy Cultural, Suvarsha as Co chair, Koti Reddy as Hospitality chair, Haritha Kuchobhotla Telugu literature, Shobha as Kids sports and games chair, Radhika as High school students counsellor,Buchi Reddy Event coordinator.
In connection with Ugadi they announced Chess tournament for Kids, Volleyball for Men, Mrs. Los Angeles competitions for women. President emphasized that lucky draw winners will be given Bangaru Bottu billalu and displayed the same to the audience. He mentioned clearly that there will not be any membership removals at all in TASC.
Ugadi & Sreeramanavami event has been scheduled to be held on May 4th Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to 1:00AM at Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center 1935 Manhattan Beach Blvd Redondo Beach, CA 90278 which has seating capacity of 1500 audience first time in TASC history.
