Los Angeles: Telugu Association Executive Committee would like to convey "Yotta-wonderful Thanks to all” “THANK ALL THE FAMILIES" for the great support in making the 2013 Ugadi and Sreeramanavami a successful event that will be remembered for years to come.
TASC 2013 seems to be rewriting history as it breaks its own records of putting up out of the norm events.
The celebrations were kicked off with much gaiety and enthusiasm on May 4th 2013, at Redondo Beach Arts performing Center.
The event witnessed a house full crowd of 2000+ enjoying the show all the way from beginning to end that went on to past midnight into the early hours of Sunday.
Even at 1:00 am the auditorium was found to have more than 1000 members, enjoying the show, and that describes the quality of program brought to them.
The evening began with Sri Ganesh dance by Sree Sahasra Gazula and a feast of BHADRACHALAM LADDU, THALAMBRAALU and TTD LADDU traditional food provided by the local Dosa Place.
The unique and savory "Ugadi Pachadi" "vadapappu" and "Paanakamu" by Shobha Kalvakota. In an Innovative way first time in TASC history the lamp lighting ceremony has been done exclusively with Women Donors Dr.Vidya, Dr.Manoramma, Smt Pushpa Reddy, Smt Saraswathi Priya and Ratna.
Quality comedy entertainment provided by comedy king “Navvula Raraju” Siva Reddy and the melodious music was presented by gorgeous nightingale “Sunita” and her highly talented co-singer “Krishna Chaitanya
Audience, children and adults alike, were extremely elated when the colored papers were shot on to the stage using double canons from both sides of the stage, while introducing the artistes and the executive committee. It was a feast to the eyes and everyone felt that, it is no less than introduction scene of a hero in a Bollywood movie.
Even Sunitha, the singer, who performed more than 10,000 shows this date, was pleasantly surprised and mentioned that she has never seen such a marvelous introduction in her event history.
Dr. Prem Reddy, great grand sponsor Dr.Srinivas Nakka, Sri Pati Damodar Reddy Sponsors and Donors Sri Dharma Reddy, Dr.Mohan Mallam, Koka Lakshman, Nadadur Vardhan, Dr.Surya Reddy of the event, also expressed in similar lines that, they have not seen such a great grand UGADI celebration of the event in last 43 years of TASC history.
Dr Prem Reddy felicitated all the artists with special mesmerizing gifts in very special way. all the Artists have been honored with TASC life membership by Dr.Reddy TASC Advisory Council chair, Great Grand Sponsor and President Nagesh.
The evening was just not dance and music, brilliant kids who excelled in Chess, men in volleyball women in Cooking Competitions were also recognized and honored, and volunteers were acknowledged and appreciated.
Well organized and coordinated efforts by our President elect Prasad Rani, Secretary Mallik Reddy Treasurer Bayapa Reddy and all our volunteers.
TASC 2013 Secretary Mallik Reddy thanked Community Chair Jaipal Reddy, Membership Registration chair Buchi Reddy, Hospitality chair Koti Reddy, Media chairs Veerababu and Ram Kodithala, Cultural chair Venu Reddy and coordinators Sireesha Gazula and Suvarsha Kamarasu, Anchors Seetha, Haritha, Ritu, Food chair Narendra, Rama Krishna Kuchibhotla, Sireesha Gazula, Raja Aysola ,Uma, Bharathi Naidu, Divya Reddy, Buchi Reddy senior TASC leaders Sreekanth,Sitaram,Saga, Sreedhar Addanki community members who attended the event and made it a grand success.
