Talk: New-Found Threats Among Hyderabadis

Hyderabad has become very sensitive and the fears are hitting in everybody's heart. The freedom to spend happily at the amusement hubs has gone away from the senses of many Hyderabadis. Freshly, the news is that a 7 KG RDX was seized by police authorities at Imran, a suspect in Lumbini blasts. Police also said that there is lot of RDX to be seized in twin cities. Knowing all this, the people are afraid. Let us see what the denizens of Hyderabad say regarding this:

"The city has become delicate. It's not just amusement hubs. When the terrorists aim at killing people in masses they may even step into residential apartments and place bombs and go away. Just imagine the panic the people get. What I feel is every citizen should be a soldier or policeman from now onwards. Only police cannot check this terror", said Narayana Rao, a retired Army officer.

That's really a fear that cannot be plummeted if residential areas are targeted. Care should indeed be taken before something of this sort happens.

"How easy it is to blast and kill people. We have been breathing freedom from many years. Now every point is to get afraid. Railway Stations can be checked. But the people who get into trains when they stop in small stations and off-the stations cannot be checked. Bus stations can be checked and buses can be checked. But what is fixed under the bus cannot be checked after it starts for its duty. Malls, Hotels, theaters and the people stepping in that can be checked. But the vehicles and people cannot be checked in traffic jams. If the wish of terrorists is to kill people in mobs, hardly their wish can be deactivated", opines Bhargavi, a media professional.

Where to stop and where to run if the plight is like this? Like Narayan Rao said above, every citizen should be soldier safe guarding his surroundings by observing people and their acts around him.
