One can consider Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik a lucky chap for celebrating his two first nights in the same hotel in Hyderabad. The hotel – Taj Krishna – has witnessed both the first nights of Shoaib Malik. The hotel staff remember the night, though not the exact date, how Shoaib had spent the night with his first wife Ayesha Siddiqui eight years ago. Her father Siddiqui had booked a special suite for his daughter’s most important day for two days. Exactly eight years after, Shoaib had his second night with tennis star Sania Mirza, whom he got married on Monday morning. And the first night suite is exactly opposite to the one which he had used eight years ago.
For Sania, too, the Hotel Taj Krishna is not to be forgotten. It was in the same ballroom of the hotel a few months ago that she got engaged to her childhood friend Sohrab Mirza, but called off later. Now, she got married to Shoaib in the same ball room and is going to give reception to 1,000 guests on Thursday in the same hall. What a coincidence?
