Swine flu: Google closes its Hyd office

Search engine Google has closed its Hyderabad office for two days on Tuesday, after one of its employees found to have contacted swine flu.

The employee is learnt to have contracted it from his room mate and it spread to five others. After coming to know that he was hospitalised and is under treatment, the Google announced closure of the office as a precautionary measure. On Monday, 80 people from Google went to the Chest Hospital for screening and samples were collected from many, according to the hospital authorities.

The management has ordered for cleaning of all rooms in all floors and refit the air conditioners, taking all precautions to prevent virus and bacteria, the company sources said.
