Los Angeles: Telugu Association of Southern California has announced their upcoming TASC 2013 Ugadi & Sree Ramanavami festival celebrations to be held on May 4, 2013. Preparations for the event have picked up momentum after the Ugadi kickoff meeting on March 30th. There are several attractions for the audience to entertain them throughout the event. A new Vijayanama Samvatsara panchanga Sravanam from the priests of various temples will be the highlight of the event.
Traditional Ugadi Pacchadi made with vepapuvvu will be served to all the attendees. TASC aims at surpassing the target of raising the Memberships compared to the previous years. A Lucky draw will be held and 5 winners will be picked from the 2013 membership enrollments. Volley ball and chess Tournaments have been planned for Men and children.
The EC conveyed their heartfelt Gratitude and thanked all the Donors for their outstanding support. The notable among the Donors are Dr.Shanthi Prem Reddy Garu, Smt.Hema Srinivas Nakka garu. Smt. Sowmithri Damoder Reddy garu, Smt. Padma Mohan Mallam Garu, Smt. Pushpa Dharma Reddy Garu Smt Vidya Lakshman garu, Smt Manorama Chandrassekhar garu and many more philanthropists.
TASC President Nagesh was inspired by the generosity of the Donors and he himself became a Donor to be a role model for his successors and encouraged the other EC members President elect Prasad Rani, General Secretary Mallik Reddy and Treasurer Bayapa Reddy to become Donors.
The arrangements are going on in full fledged manner. The celebrity Guests Singer Sunitha and Krishna Chaitanya are coming here to mesmerize the audience with memorable songs like Ee velalo , Egiripothe entha Baavuntundi....etc. Famous Mimicry and Cine Artist Siva Reddy is coming to entertain the Audience with his Mimicry and dance.
The Executive committee requested everyone to to enroll in life memberships and renew their Annual memberships through manatasc.org website. The capacity of the Theater is only 1500 So,the EC encouraged the community people to renew their memberships as early as possible. There will be limited quota for event tickets. Individual $10 and family $20. Students will be given 50% discount with valid proof of identity. A traditional unlimited food Pulihora, Gutthi Vankaya Koora,Veg. pulav and Kurma will be served in the event.
President Nagesh requested all the Telugoittes to enroll or renew their memberships and make this event memorable in the history of TASC. He invited through press all the Donors , Present and Past Advisers ,Past Presidents, past EC members to mark their calendars and requested them to attend the event .
