
The entire Telugu community of Los Angeles southern was aghast at the sudden and untimely demise of Sarada Surampudi (32). She was working as a software engineer in Panasonic, left to office as usual in the morning and at about 5 PM on July 25, 2013 she suddenly collapsed to death in the office even before the paramedics arrived.
Sarada is survived by her husband Srinivas Chatlaapalli and 8-year-old loving son. Her parents Surampudi Vishwam (a retired chemist) and Radhasobha hail from Tanuku in West Godavari , AP.
As soon as the news broke out, Telugu Association of southern California (TASC) President Nagesh Ankamma, Secretary Mallik Reddy, Treasurer Bayapa, community leaders Sitaram Reddy, Buchi Reddy along with a few other TASC members Shobha Kalvakota, Rajeshwari, Radhika several other women from Irvine rushed to the hospital and worked tirelessly in assisting the family, friends and relatives of the Sarada family. The body was later shifted to Santa Ana Mortuary from Saddleback Memorial Hospital in Laguna Hills.
TASC president alerted the TASC Advisory council chair Dr. Prem Reddy, TASC BOT chair Dr. Mohan Mallam , Sri Dharma Reddy Gummadi, NATA IVP Anil Arraballiand, RVP Mallik Banda.
Dr. Prem Reddy immediately asked NATA and TASC presidents to coordinate with NATA Community services team. NATA CS chair Dr. Samba Reddy is coordinating the task of helping the bereaved family in all aspects especially in making arrangements to ship the body to India. The NATA and TASC teams are assisting the family with help from Hindu Funeral home for shipping logistics.
NATA President Dr. Sanjeeva Reddy, Advisory chair Dr. Prem Reddy, TASC Advisory member Dr. Srinivas Nakka, TASC President Nagesh Ankamma, TASC BOT Chair Dr. Mohan Mallam, BOT's vice-chair Dharma Reddy, Secretary Lakshman Koka expressed their deepest condolences to Srinivas family. The NATA leadership has come forward to provide all assistance needed to the family at this tragic time.
Srinivas family in LA and Sarada family backhome are assisted by friends Sekhar, Sreedhar and NATA and TASC community members including its president Nagesh Ankamma, who is continuously monitoring the situation.
