With more and more focus on prostitution and the increasing count of many girls and women indulging into the acts of passion, many have been raising their protest against the law and order authorities since they feel that not much is being done to counter this issue. Due to this, they feel that even some of the residential localities are being used as the haven for such activities since the suspicion levels are not high.
Off late, it is being noticed that whenever there is a raid happening on a brothel house, the locations are quite residential and one would not even be able to sniff that something like that is happening unless a keen level of concentration or attention is given. But when something like this does happen, it is surely creating an air of inconvenience to those who live with families.
But then a question is being raised by those who are empathizing with this prostitutes as to what sort of alternative measures would be provided by the police department if these ladies give up their daily acts. As such, the concerned government officials are in no position to provide livelihood to all those. They also have a practical argument when they say that in what way is it causing a damage to the society since their point is, if someone wants to indulge in sex, he does not have to come only to the brothel house and do it, he might as well get into extra-marital and illicit affairs to satisfy his needs.
While this is not to encourage prostitution in any way, a serious thought needs to go inside in trying to figure out as to what could be the suitable replacement therapy that can be induced so that women don't get into flesh trade and earn their livelihood in a decent manner. It is being heard from many sources associated with the brothels that sometimes, it is the same cops who indulge into lewd acts with women and they tend to overlook few norms during such times.
While the debate may be on for ages to come, it is upto the moral conscience and the choice of the individual to choose the path, whether to go towards the brothel house and encourage such industry or turn his back towards it and lead a straightforward life.
