Sheela Murthy to address immigration issues

The Greater Washington Telugu Cultural Society (GWTCS) will be celebrating “Ugadi” – the Telugu New Year on April 12th at the Oakton High School in Vienna, Virginia. Over 125+ performers including kids and adults will be showcasing their talent and love for the Telugu Culture as part of these celebrations. Attorney Sheela Murthy, founder, president, and managing attorney of the Murthy Law Firm, specializing in immigration law will be the guest of honor.
 
Attorney Murthy is a member of several legal and professional organizations like the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Frequently called upon to discuss immigration law, she is also featured in many international publications for her worldwide practice.
 
Talking about the celebrations and welcoming Attorney Murthy, Satish Vemana, President, GWTCS, said, “We are grateful to Attorney Murthy for accepting our invitation. We will be hosting a one hour session with the Attorney to discuss immigration issues and I invite all the members of the Telugu community to avail this unique opportunity. Also enjoy the evening filled with great entertainment and get a taste of delicious Andhra food”

The celebrations also include a Telugu singing competition - “Paadutha Teeyaga” in two age categories under 16 and 16 or over. Prominent singer USHA will be adjudicating the program.
 
TTD ex-officio board member and TUDA (Tirupati Urban Development Association) Chairman Sri. Chevi Reddy Bhaskar Reddy will inaugurate the Ugadi function.
