Reports say that the total sale of beer bottles in city has touched Rs 12 lakhs in a single day and the figure is expected to go high. There are approximately 500 bars and twice the wine shops in the city and despite that, there is a shortage of beer.
It is also said that the beer bottles are now being sold in black at the rate of upto Rs 250 but still, the demand is still intact. Meanwhile, the distilleries and other companies are trying their best to increase the production since they realize that these are the two months for their peak business.
