The Telangana turmoil has created such a major impact on the city of Hyderabad that once it was touted to beat the likes of Bangalore and Chennai but today it is lagging behind cities like Ahmedabad and Nagpur.
The major disaster has taken place on the real estate market and here is another update.
Due to the congress government announcing separate Telangana it is heard that the land prices in the suburbs of the city have crashed.
According to few realtors based in the city outskirts they are now coming up with a new scheme. Just by paying 15k you can register your land and then through EMI scheme you pay 15k per month.
Buzz is that many sellers are asking how much you can pay and based on the price they are fixing a deal. It is heard that they are understanding no business will happen in Hyderabad anymore due to the Telangana issue.
The total Telangana population is estimated at 3 crores so no expansion will be there. The non-Telangana people will buy lands in the new capital. Hence, with this fear the Telangana folks are selling their lands through EMI format.
Meanwhile, in Andhra the rates have gone thrice with speculation around the Ongole, Guntur, Vijayawada sectors. Not sure what anyone has achieved with this decision then.
