Sources say that deluxe flats are now available for Rs 2000 –Rs 2300 per sft and this is in areas such as Shameerpet, Shamshabad etc. It is also heard that on proper bargaining, the prices will come down further. The situation is no better even in few key areas of the city.
So far, even the experts are not in a position to predict when things will change since not many transactions are happening. On the other hand, with the banking and financial institutions amending their rules to a stringent level, tough times are lying ahead for the property segment.
