These are said to be toll free numbers and later on, once the caller gets lured into it, the real fleecing begins. On the other hand some are giving VOIP numbers from USA or UK to avoid Indian address identity and running the brothel acts.
 
It is heard that there are many who are trying out these numbers and while it is not sure how many are actually pursuing the matter, this new system seems to have become a concern for the law enforcement authorities. And the SMS approach is rather shameless say the receivers.
