The departure of Puttaparthi Satya Sai Baba has happened and already, his prediction that he would take his rebirth as Prema Sai has begun to make rounds.
Apparently, Satya Sai Baba has predicted he would be born in the Mandya district of Karnataka. Now, this has created frenzy among the prospective parents in that district.
Reports are arriving that most of the parents are now naming their newborn sons as Prema Sai. In a way, all are attempting to become Prema Sai. As such, this is absurd but when it comes to faith in few things, nothing can stop mob hysteria.
A local government official in the Mandya district revealed “A madness has begun to take over the people here. This is the frenzy of Prema Sai and what many don’t realize is that if Prema Sai is to arrive then no one can stop it. Naming hundreds of children by that name will not bring any difference. As it is, we don’t know when he will take birth, now or after 50 years. For now, all this looks crazy…”
