Overseas Indians can appear for Eamcet now

Students of Indian Origin or Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) will be allowed to appear for Eamcet to take admissions in professional colleges in the state. The decision was taken by the Eamcet committee since it had received many requests for the same from parents of such students. Students who have a degree equivalent to Intermediate examinations from colleges outside India will now be allowed to write Eamcet and take admissions in Engineering and Medical colleges in the state.
