It appears that the relationship between the students of the Osmania University and the Hyderabad police is that of husband and wife. While the cops are spending everyday in the OU campus, the students make it a point to pick up trouble as and when possible to keep the policemen busy.
Anyways, here is interesting information we received. It is heard that both the students and the police are now becoming ‘drink buddies’. Already, it is winter and with the police doing night shifts as well, it is heard that the students have begun to give company and they are having Brandy at nights.
It is also heard the police is giving ‘gyan’ to the students asking why all this and making them realize that it is purely a political game by few crooks. Those who heard this incident say this is better instead of caning them and facing stone attacks. With all this, the ‘sitting’ sessions of the police with the OU students is reportedly giving some positive results.
“Well, they are students for name sake. Many of them have crossed even their 30 years of age and spending lives in hostels, in the name of research, taking the advantage of their reservations”, say police which is an open secret.
