Most of the Congress Party supporters celebrated our favorite leader YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s Jayanthi (July 8th) all across the US and other countries this past weekend with great enthusiasm and grandeur.
People gathered with their friends and families in restaurants, parks, and hotels either on Saturday or Sunday depending on their convenience and commitments. Most of the followers attended along with their families and celebrated the life and legacy of Sri Rajasekhar Reddy. This sure makes our great leader in the heaven proud, as he always valued his family and friends dearly.
Local singers and artists performed cultural programs like YSR related live and recorded music a brief speeches by volunteers and ardent YSR followers. Videos of the great leader were shown on big screens where available. Most of the location played a special audio message from YS Jagan to the cheers of all the attendees. Soft drinks, snacks and dinners were arranged local restaurants. It was a great fun filling and enjoyable day for all of us.
Everyone that attended these celebrations remembered Jananetha YS Rajasekhara Reddy gaaru with fondness and affection. There were a lot of tears flowing from most followers. They all miss him dearly. The volunteers and organizers of each city thanked all the attendees, Sakshi Newspaper, Great Andhra website, and local restaurants for excellent food and authorities for their support.
We all decided to hold the first Vardhanthi of the great leader YS Rajasekhara Reddy on September 04, 2010 in more cities than the Jayanthi Celebrations.
The cities that celebrated YSR Jayanthi were Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Columbus (OH), Detroit, Bay Area, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, NY/NJ/PA, Washington DC/Virginia/Maryland, Boston, Bay Area, St Louis, Charlotte, and Orlando, Richmond (VA), Denver, Houston, Charlotte, Raleigh, and other cities like Dublin (Ireland), London (UK), Kuwait, Kaulalampur (Malaysia), Melbourne (Australia), South The pictures and videos would be posted on the website (CelebrateYSR.org).
