Detroit NRIs Welcomed Y. S. Jagan’s New Party

NRIs living in and around Detroit organized a press meet to extend their strong support and solidarity to the young dynamic leader Y. S. Jagan, son of the great telugu leader and champion of masses, late chief minister, Dr. Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy. Soon after the announcement was made by Y. S. Jagan to launch a new political party, several NRIs gathered for a press conference to welcome his decision.

They said the state of Andhra Pradesh is currently facing severe leadership crisis and Y. S. Jagan is the only capable leader under present circumstances who can lead the state into development by successfully implementing the popular welfare schemes and projects introduced by the great leader late Dr. Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy. They appreciated Y. S. Jagan as he is the only leader in the Congress party who stood against undemocratic policies of the party high command. “It is shame on the part of senior congress leaders who lack self-respect and individuality and are not even in a position to convey the public opinion to the party high command”, criticized several NRIs. They said it is very unfortunate that the Congress leadership seems to be only interested in targeting Jagan and to contain his political career and popularity but least bothered about the development of state and country.

They called on the supporters of Congress party to come forward and extend their support to Y. S. Jagan who inherited the qualities of great leader YSR and who is committed for the welfare of people of Andhra Pradesh.

Lingala Hariprasad Reddy, Ramachandra Reddy, Praveen Gunasani, Balaji Yedam, Yugandhar Bhumireddy, T Sreedhar Reddy, Sagar, Vinod Atmakur, Sivaram Yarlagadda, Ravi Kiran, Dayakar, Kotireddy, Sankar Reddy, Hari Kareddy, Rao Nerasu, Srinivas Chittaluri, Srinivas Peddaparthi, Ramana Reddy, Chenchu Reddy, Srinivas Barla, Krishna, Nanda Kishore, and others participated in the event.
