NATS (North American Telugu Society) conference was concluded last night at Dallas, TX. The event went on peacefully though there were a few jerks and turbulences.
Ravi Madala, Madhu Korrapati, Ananth Mallavarapu, Srinath Jandhyala and team were among a few those received positive feedback for their service.
NATS Chairman Ranakumar Nadella declared 2015 Sambaralu in LA, California and 2017 in Atlanta, GA.
Highlights:
- The convention Centre was convenient for all the guests, donors and participants.
- Water bottles were placed at right places at regular short distances to avoid complaints from visitors.
- The tickets sold were optimum and that resulted in handling hospitality in right manner.
- Literary programs proved super successful. Especially Meegada Rama Linga Swamy's ' Sangeeta Nava Avadhanam' and Film Lyricists's event 'Maa Baani Mee Vaani' pulled heavy crowds.
- The dances of NRI men, women, girls and boys for a chain of film songs stood as highlight program.
- Meet and greet programs with Balakrishna, Kajal aand Nisha Agarwal, speaker Nadendla Manohar were successful.
- Kona Venkat's Directors' work shop went well.
- Dance programs by children worked well with audience.
- No complaint from anyone regarding food
- Stalls were very less and that avoided chaos
Dim Lights:
- The inaugural meeting was disturbed and delayed due to the objection from fire marshals for not making arrangements in tune with the fire norms.
- No condolence was paid for Uttarakhand victims where many Telugus were killed in the massive floods.
- The main complaint of the audience is about their disappointment for not enjoying Paduta Teeyaga and Keeravani's program peacefully due to audio problems.
- Discussions about the absence of brand ambassador Ghazal Srinivas for the event lead to many gossips and rumours about the harmony among NATS members.
- Balakrishna's speech was a mess as many didn't understand what he spoke. Finally he said 'thanks to TANA' instead of NATS.
- Mimicry program was just average.
