NATA PA & Delaware team organized NATA Awareness & Membership Drive in PA and the response from the community is great and majority of the attendees became members of NATA during the membership drive.
The event was organized on Saturday, Sep 14, 2013 at Bawarchi Restaurant, 500 Chestbrook Blvd, PA -10987 led by Sreedhar Gudala (RVP-PA) under the guidance of Dr. Pailla Mallareddy ( AC Member), Dr. Sanjeeva Reddy ( President), and Srinivas Ganagoni (BOD). NATA leadership set a goal to increase the membership to 10000 by end of this year and the membership drives are being organized across USA to meet that target.
The event started with a Ganesha prayer sung by master Saket and Sreedhar Gudala (RVP) requested all the attendees to observe one minute silence to remember the victims of Sep 11, 2011 prior to start of the meeting. He welcomed all the guests and attendees and thanked all of the NATA PA & Delaware team members who worked hard to make the membership drive successful. He gave an introductory speech on how NATA is different why they should join the NATA.
Srinivas Ganagoni (BOD) delivered the key note speech to the audience and explained about the core mission of NATA and explained in detail about all the service activities that NATA is organizing in USA such as IT Job Fairs, Health Fairs, Immigration Seminars, Student Assistance Program, help sending the deceased bodies back home, and sports events (Cricket, Volleyball, and Golf) being organized in USA to motivate the youth and adults. He explained about the upcoming events in USA and past community activities organized during NATA Sevadays in India and emphasized how NATA is different in serving the community here in USA and also in India. NATA is always in fore front in responding quickly when there is a need arises from the community. He welcomed all the new members in PA & Delaware area and thanked them for joining the NATA. He requested all the new members to take active participation and organize community service activities in PA & DE area.
Dr. Sanjeeva Reddy (President) addressed the gathering over the phone, and thanked Sreedhar Gudala and PA & Delaware team for organizing such a wonderful membership drive and he explained all the services activities that NATA is currently doing and explained about the upcoming NATA Sevadays projects that are planned in AP, India this coming Dec, 2013. He welcomed all the new members to NATA family.
The TAGDV team consists of Ravi Potluri, Mallikarjuna Budhavarapu, Harinath Bungatavula,Suresh Reddy Venkannagari, Kiran Kothapalli attended the event and pledged their support to NATA. The PA & Delaware team consists of Ram Mohan Chinnala (RC), Raj Kakkerla(RC),Avanish Raj(RC),Rajesh Esarapu,Mallik Bolla,Hari Bandigari who worked very hard to bring the community together and helped making this membership a GRAND success.
There are few women volunteers who are newly joined members of NATA came forward to organize events those are related to women in the future. Few organizers who are presently organizing Cricket tournament in that area came forward and pledged their support and agreed in principle to work with NATA in the future after seeing the NATA activities happening across the USA.
Community leaders, Ravi Mayreddy, Madhava Reddy Mosarla,Naveen Yerra,Balaji Macherla,Sudheer Raju,Ramesh, Kankati,Pavan,Tirunahari,Ravi Papagari, Jayan Reddy Nallu,Raja Ankathi,Venu Enugula and women leaders Latha, Likitha attended the event extended their support to NATA. Singer Vijjii Anand sang very good songs and master Saket played a flute to entertain the audience.
