North American Telugu Association (NATA) is conducting cricket tournament on August 31st and September 1st 2013 at Parlin in New Jersey.
As part of its commitment towards the Telugu people and Indian community in general NATA has been regularly conducting events that benefit the community, promote the language and culture, showcase the talents, Sports & games and entertainment.
As a part of this, NATA has conducted Volleyball tournament recently with overwhelming response and appreciation from the community.
Cricket is widely followed by Indians and is very near to the Telugus. NATA as a tradition has been conducting cricket tournaments since its inception.
The cricket tournament will be conducted at Dwight D Eisenhower School grounds, located at 601 Ernston Road, Parlin NJ 08859.
Over a dozen teams from several states are expected to participate in the tournament.
The regional Telugu associations TFAS, TLCA, TAGDV and HTA are supporting the event.
NATA NORTHEAST TEAM under the guidance of Dr. Pailla Malla Reddy along with NJPCL team is making all arrangements to have this as a fun filled family event.
While families can come and enjoy the matches, they can also enjoy the music with DJ and several other activities. It will be a picnic environment with matches going on.
The event is being organized by New Jersey Premier Cricket League (NJPCL) and the title sponsor is Persis Biryani Indian Grill. to organize this event.
