Players and enthusiasts yet again proclaimed Dallas is the destination for Badminton. The tournament was organized by North America Telugu Association (NATAus.org) supported by IANT and TANTEX,
The tournament was sponsored by Trellis IT Inc, a premier IT firm from Dallas.
The tournament was one of the best organized tournament under the leadership of Jaychandra Reddy (Regional vice-president), Mahender Reddy (Regional coordinator), Pratap Bhimireddy and Rajender Todigala (sports co-chair). 30 teams with over 120 players and volunteers participated in a tournament conducted with finesse and energetic attributions.
Players showed what all termed paramount enthusiasm and discipline in every game. The organizers felt the games were no less than world class type. The organizers ensured justice to budding teams and introduced new format so all players could enjoy the spirit of the game.
As some teams showed their zeal to win the games, some showed the essence of coming along as a team and participating in the fun filled tournament. The games progressed with full of exhilaration, smashes and long rallies immaculated the proceedings.
The well deserving winners and runners up were congratulated by all the players showing their Dallas spirit!

Regional vice-President Jaychandra Reddy talking to the players said NATA is built on foundations of cultural prominence and social service and said they have laid special focus on youth and sports. He provided a plethora of sport activities for the upcoming weeks and requested all to be present and Thanked to NATA President Sanjeeva Reddy garu, Dr. Prem Reddy garu and Dr. Malla reddy garu for providing great leadership for NATA. Other NATA prominent leaders addressing the crowd were NATA Secretary Ramsurya Reddy, NATA Jt. Secretary Dr. Sridhar Reddy, NATA Intl. Vice-President Srinivas, Reddy Gurram, Pratap Bhimreddy, Rajender Todigala, Ramana Putlur, Rao Kalvala, Satish Bommineni, Uma Kurri, Ravi Kona, Mahesh Guduru and Dr. Ramana Reddy Guduru, Dr. Raghava reddy, Dr. Tara reddy, Dr. Alla Srinivas Reddy supported this event.
The organizers had a special note of thank to volunteers Rajavardhan Gondhi, Rajender Todigala, Hari Madiraju, Vamsidhar Reddy Sudini, Mahesh Adibhatla, Prasad, Krishna Reddy, Dharga Reddy, Anand Kondala, Sudhakar Reddy, NMS Reddy, Palgun, Madhu Mallu, Vamsi Nagella and Bhanu. Later Jaychandra Reddy, Ramasurya reddy, Pratap Bhimireddy, Mahender Reddy, Rajavardhan Gondhi, Uma Kurri and Rajender Todigala thanked volunteers, sponsors, players and media partners for promoting the event, Mustang Park Recreation Center for providing the facility, Jalsa Restaurant for providing delectable Birayani.
