Social responsibility is an ethical ideology and obligation to act to benefit society at large, Acharya College of Engineering and Polytechnic founded and started four years back near Badvel, Kadapa by its Chairman Venkata Pala, who is a resident of Michigan USA living since 16 years sense Social Responsibility is key for any individual to success in their life. As part of this:
Venkata Pala feeding enriched meal on every Thursday for about 100 poor people along with fresh water packets. Students are engaged in distribution of food and water at noon of every Thursday (Rain or shine, bandh or Holiday) going by on an auto to find the needy on streets. By this, institute develops a social attitude in the student along with studies.
Institute cultivates positive attitude towards elderly people, by visiting OLD AGE homes 4 times in a year. By this student has to develop attitude towards to their parents during their old age.
Institute develops concept of Health by visiting hospitals twice in a year, So that, student would learn importance of health along with studies.
Therefore, college inherited above three core social responsibilities to make tiny difference in students and society.
Also, Venkata Pala along with Jagadish Boddapati organized Mrs Susheela, Mani Sharma and Keeravani musical concerts to entertain Michigan Telugus, played significant role in fund raisings of Shirdi Sai baba temple in Michigan.
