Hon'ble. Consulate General of India, Houston meeting meet and greet with IANT, Dallas.
It was an informative session on January 14th, 2012 with Hon'ble CGI Sanjeev Arora in Dallas, TX. There were many enthusiastic people who turned up for the meeting and were attentive throughout the session addressed by the CGI.
The meeting was presided by Dr. Sridhar Korsapati President, IANT. He welcomed Mr.Sanjeev Arora and thanked for taking time during the weekend to address the Dallas audience. Dr. Sridhar Korsapati addressed the gathering with few of the challenges faced by persons of Indian origin abroad. Mr.sanjeev Arora listened to all the conversation and later addressed the audience.
He spoke about PIO and OCI cards and explained how his team is working long hours to mitigate the concerns that Indians have. He also expressed views on the bilateral relations between United States and India. There were many useful questions raised by the audience and Mr. Sanjeev Arora answered all of them.
Ms. Shabnam Motgill BOT chair, IANT presented a momento to Mr.Sanjeev Arora and expressed that there should be more sessions like these.
Dr. Sridhar Korsapati suggested that there should workshops conducted in Dallas/Fort-Worth area to address the grievances of Indians living in DFW. Mr.Sanjeev Arora promised to look into this matter in the near future.
