Kismathdas Kasam Was Shot Dead In New Jersey

Kismathdas Kasam, 47 year old, native of Warangal, who was working in a gas station in Phillipsburg, New Jersey, was shot in his right leg early Thursday around 12.00 AM. Das collapsed on the spot and lost lot of blood due to the intensity of the wound before the help arrived. He was taken to St Luke's hospital, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania where he struggled for two days in a very critical condition and was pronounced dead around 3.08 pm on Saturday, January 7th 2012.

He survived by wife and three children. He was residing with his wife in New Jersey and working hard to make a living for his family. His family needs financial assistance to move his remains to India for funeral. His devastated wife also needs financial support to move to India.

Police are looking for two men who might have been involved. TANA TEAM Square has been assisting the Kasam's family and making arrangements to send the diseased and his spouse to India as soon as possible. TANA leadership expresses condolences to Kasam's family.
