The sexual harassment case against suspended Andhra Cricket Association secretary V Chamundeshwaranath is taking several twists and turns.
One of the women cricketers, Savitha, lodged a complaint with the police, stating that Chamundi tried to kidnap her. Incidentally, Savita was the first cricketer who openly came out and exposed sexual abuse by Chamundi. She said she received a call from one Malladi Prasad, said to be closer to Chamundi, asking her to come to a hotel in Trivendrum. The caller referred to the gifts presented by Chamundi to her.
She suspected foul play and immediately brought it to the notice of ACA president G Gangaraju. She came to Vijayawada with his help and complained to police. She said she had all the evidences of phone calls received from Chamundi.
