Mudra Creations is organizing the first ever NRI Dance Talent Hunt in USA and Canada. The winners would be participating in the Gemini TV prime TV realty show named JOSH. This is aimed to bring the multi talented NRIs to the Indian mainstream. This would help in proving that NRI talent is no less than the mainland Indians.
Pranav Creations are the producers for the show and are planning to bring out the hidden talent in the NRI youth. This is the first time ever any Indian channel planning to conduct the dance competitions across all USA to find the best dance talent and bring it back to India. Famous danseuse Dr. Padmaja Reddy is going to tour extensively in USA accompanied by famous choreographers of India during the competitions.
The plan is to select 10 best performers through this talent search, which is going to take place in the month of September, 2010 across all major regions in USA. The selected persons will be invited to India and will be trained in various dance forms, and will participate in Gemini Channel Reality Show.
This is an excellent opportunity for the NRIs who take interest and pride in Dance. The participants will get credentials from the Organizers and the Channel. The winners who are selected will be trained in India by famous choreographers free of cost, which normally would be costing thousands. The winners will be recognized all over the USA and Canada with patronage of millions of viewers. The selected candidates will have the opportunity to interact with celebrity guests for this program like producers, directors, heroes, and heroines etc.
Participants can be from 10 years to 25 years. They have to be acquainted with at least one dance form. It doesn’t matter whether it is Western, Movie, Classical, and folk dances.
