Japan Stands By Its 'National Anthem'

Japan, the land of rising Sun and the nation that inspires rest of the world with robot technology and advancement in science and technology from time to time is now facing the worst phase that it had ever faced in past 65 years. But still the nation has got the power to get rid of pains very soon and that is known by the way it handled the consequences of 2nd world war in 1945. A glance at their National Anthem made me understand that citizens of Japan are standing by that not just by singing but following the spirit.

Here is their National anthem and its English translation by line:

kimigayo wa - May Japan's Reign
chiyo ni yachiyo ni- Last For Ten Thousand Years
sazare ishi no- Until The Pebbles
iwao to narite- Grow Into Boulders
koke no musu maade- Lush With Moss

Swami Vivekananda said ‘Japan can be a great inspiration for Indian youth’.

That is true.

Japan, the small but strong nation in the world stands as an inspiration for rest of the world in patience and perseverance. When it took the blow of Atom Bomb during Second World War in 1945, entire world assumed that Japan got wiped out from the map. But within few years, Japan had rebuilt its glory much to the surprise of everyone.

Japanese citizens never give up. They never bow down to the curse of nature or man. They fight back.

All that they had after Atom Bomb attack in 1945 were pebbles. They strived with perseverance and made them boulders! Yes, it’s a metaphorical truth of their hard work where they can bring light everywhere with a mere spark.

And another beautiful truth is that Japanese citizens can make things under any condition. The last line in their anthem connotes that- ‘lush with moss’. Moss is a plant that grows anywhere be it on soil or on wood or on stone.

Now Japan has seen another massive curse, from nature this time. The disastrous earthquake and catastrophically wiped out Tsunami may cut down the glory of Japan, but not the morale of Japanese. They come up, stand by their national anthem and inspire rest of the world. Land of rising Sun never sets down.
