The clock is ticking and the only topic in the entire nation is about the upcoming semi-final match between India and Pakistan for the prestigious world cup.
While preparations are on in a massive scale, even the IT companies are showing a softer stand and coming up with various initiatives to please their employees.
News is that Mahindra Satyam has given a half-day holiday from 2.30 pm onwards on March 30th, the time when the match begins.
On the other hand, another IT giant has booked all the pubs in the city so that its employees along with their bosses can have a blast.
Few other companies have decided to screen the match in their mini-theatres within the campus while some companies have indicated that an off can be taken if wanted.
So far, everything looks good but some of them are quipping whether this kindness would have been shown when the market was going through recession…
