
In what is believed to be yet another case of race crime, a Hyderabadi-student was assaulted by unknown miscreants and stabbed several times inside his apartment in New Hampshire, London, on Saturday.
Praveen Reddy, 26, who was doing his MBA from the London Business School, was stabbed and his body was thrown outside the house. He was admitted to a hospital and his condition is said to be critical at the moment.
His father Sudhakar Reddy, a resident of L B Nagar, is a real estate dealer in Hyderabad. His family members are worried after hearing the news.
The London police have confirmed the incident, but are mum on hate crime angle. They are learnt to have arrested 10 students in connection with the incident. His father has appealed to the Indian government for visa to be quickly issued.
