Sometimes, the TV channels tend to ignore the essence of a particular program and this holds good even for the news too. Something like that happened in the famous SV channel which is known for its devotional programs and all the happenings at the holy shrine of Tirumala Tirupathi.
There is the news section in this channel and the idea of this is to give information on the spiritual events and other religious activities. Instead, a clipping was shown which had a noted high court justice speaking about weather and how his Darshan had been atop the hill.
It was said that High Court justice has visted Tirumala. He was shown in the byte while saying, “Everybody received me well here and Tirumala is very good. The weather is also pleasant here with little drizzling (!!!!!!!!!!!)”
Those who have seen it are asking as to how this can be deemed as spiritual or religious news and wonder what the newsmakers had in mind when they came up with this particular item. Well, let us hope the SV channel folks work on this and try to stick to providing ‘Aadhyathmika’ news instead of ‘weather’ news from high court justice.
