I am Rohit Kuncham 23yrs old working in Honeywell India since Jan 2 , 2012. I am in a very genuine critical need.
My dad is 54 years old. He is suffering from liver problem ~ Cirrhosis of liver (Decompensated) - HBV Related from two years. Initially doctors diagnosed and told he will be fine, if he takes proper diet and medication. I was under an assumption that his surgery (liver transplantation) wouldn't be needed. Unfortunately, the fate has suddenly summoned the other way. April 13 2013 his health condition deteriorated and he was hospitalized in a very serious condition. By god’s grace he got discharged on 22 April 2013 after this severe medical episode.
Now the liver condition got deteriorated much and doctor advised to visit transplant center. After visiting GLOBAL Hospitals, Hyderabad; they confirmed liver transplant needs to be done in near future. Surgery will cost 31 lakhs INR (pre and post hospitalization). The initial preliminary body test to determine MELD score costs up to 3 lakhs INR(donor + recipient).Attached are the latest case study and prescriptions.
“My father had spent all his earnings on my education and sister marriage .My father used to run a small grocery shop, but has been unable to manage because of his poor health for the past couple of years. I am the only person earning in the family..I am currently on Loss Of Pay , staying with my parents in this critical life struggle situations, giving them moral support. I have expended all the amount I have earned in my profession till date. Currently, my financial condition cannot afford this costliest medical expenses.
He had given me life and brought me up to this state. Now I am in helpless condition to save his life. He never did any harm to anyone, he always wants to help people. He deserves to live longer. I was dreaming of buying a nice home in the city for him after a year or two. I always wanted to give him everything he ever wanted . But fate have summoned the other way.”
I pray to God that no one should be in my dad's position. I also request everyone to take up Hbs-Ag test and get vaccinated. God forbid, I would pray that none would be in this situation.
