One of our Indian Students Abhinay Reddy Nyalakonda met with a life threating accident on 31st May 2014 in Terre Haute, IN. He was drowned in a 8ft deep swimming pool due to spasms and seizure which resulted damage to his lungs and mainly to his Brain due to the lack of oxygen instantaneously.
It is reported that he was drowned for few minutes before someone nearby discovered him and called 911. He was administered CPR and he started breathing after 7 min of CPR and then he was airlifted from Terre Haute to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He has been in coma since then and today, Doctors have said that his situation detoriated and he may not survive more than 24 hours.
Abhinay has been a very bright student and he was scheduled to graduate this December and looking forward to a bright future and support his ailing family back home, which has taken much pains to send him here by loans, they hail from a agricultural background.
While we pray and hope for his recovery we cannot deny the effect it has on his family (He is survived by his parents and a sister) especially monetarily. It is in this regard that we solicit your help.
We hope that our prayers will help him recover completely and soon but wanted also to reach out to our friends and into our community to seek some monetary help, to ease the pressure on his family.
