The season of Ramzan has begun and while it is a pious month for the Muslims, it is also the month where non-Muslim folks look forward to. The reason for that is the delicacy Haleem which is had after sunset when the Muslim folks break their fast. All this happens in the city of Hyderabad where Haleem is a hot sensation.
Now, it is heard that there has been a huge increase in the number of Haleem centres. To make things easier, there are exclusive beef, chicken, mutton haleem centers with captions like Pure ghee and Kashmiri Masala topped. Earlier it was only mutton haleem but now beef haleem has also increased.
For now, many say the demand is for mutton haleem and then comes chicken haleem but since mutton has become expensive, poor Muslims are going towards beef. If this continues, then many feel that even camel haleem will also come. It is religiously okay but then it is better some line must be drawn towards animal sentiment.
It should not be in a way that can damage Hindu sentiments and definitely not with animals like camel. Actually, the Arab countries are not that crazy for Haleem like it is in Hyderabad. But here the mania is different.
