Life gives us one and only one chance to do most things right. Some we do right and some we do not. You have one opportunity to do something so right but it’s not just for you. It’s for your father, the great Rajasekhara Reddy. It’s for his countless faithful followers. It’s for those people that needed your father desperately and still needs him even today. Always, follow your father - Never go back on promises. You should go ahead with full force that your father had given you. Now that we know what exactly you went through dealing with the Congress High Command, we feel your pain. They do not understand your pain of losing your father. But we all do from rural poor to highly educated people.
You may not get to become the Chief Minister of great state of Andhra Pradesh. But no one is born destined to be Chief Minister or Prime Minister. It may happen to you or it may not. But the point is you do not have to become one to be remembered fondly by the people. You chose the right path, travel earnestly in the chosen path and should not worry about what you would become. But honestly, you would become larger following your own path than the Congress High Command’s. People who compare you with Karunakaran, Sangma, Pawar do not know what they are talking. They do not understand the indelible impression your father has in the hearts and souls of masses of Andhra Pradesh. Your father is so big in Andhra Pradesh that he dwarfs Gandhi family and these seniors like KK, VH, Rosayya are like tiny insects.
Some people doubt if you would have enough MLAs following you out in to the new political party that you may start eventually. They have to decide if they want to be with you or against you. It’s not just you that they need to think of. It’s your father too. People know that your father gave all these leaders and Congress party in the state a new life. Those MLAs would not support you at their own peril. Congress party (Sonia Gandhi, Rosayya, seniors and others) would not be able to get these MLAs reelected. There is a lot of secondary leadership that will become backbone of the new party. We NRIs are completely behind you.
Dethrone this spineless Rosayya and get the new elections. You will easily form the government on your own. Masses are behind you completely. You will write new chapter in Andhra politics and the High command will get down on their knees and beg you to keep their government at Centre.
What you are doing is right. Follow your heart. Do the right thing, whatever may be the consequences. As your father used to say “It’s never important to live like a crow for 100 years”. Live like YSR.
