Bay Area Congress fans celebrated Late Andhra Pradesh Chief minister Dr.Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy Jayanthi at Fairoaks Park, Sunnyvale, California on July, 10, 2010. The place was very pleasant and cool in hot Sumer, Many people along with their families participated in the event and remembered people’s leader Dr. YSR. This time we have seen more women percentage attendance than earlier in Bay area YSR functions
Around 300 people grandly celebrated his Birthday by giving flower shower to his great portrait and felt his absence.
KVR started the event and introduced the guests. Raji reddy CEO of Sierra Atlantic Inc. started the guest speech and recollected the moments he spent with YSR. He said, “Dr. YSR made Hyderabad a leading center for entrepreneurship. He is also well known to be connected to the masses. It’s a tough task to be connected with masses as well as entrepreneurs. The impact of such leaders is everlasting. Dr. YSR could very well be like Mahatma Gandhi”.
Hanimi Reddy spoke next; he recollected the closeness with Dr .YSR. He said, “We celebrated Dr. YSR second time all time congress record victory along with Suresh Vuyyuru and others in bay area July 5th 2009. Also, we met Dr .YSR in the last August personally requested him to implement Unemployment Insurance for NRI’s. So far, Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy and Anjayya garu were the greatest leaders of Andhra Pradesh, but no one can do what Dr. YSR did. I never imagined that poor people in India can afford heart surgery, but Dr. YSR made it possible with Aarogyasree . Dr. YSR also started the concept of IIIT to give good education to the toppers of all the government schools ”. He also requested all the YSR family fans to be united and work hard to continue all his Programs for development of Andhra Pradesh.
Dr Ram Kesari a colleague of Dr. YSR when Dr. YSR was working as house surgeon in SVU said, “We saw him as a student, he was no body then, but we found distinguished capability in him”. Ram Kesari recited a poem on Dr. YSR which showed affection and praise towards Dr. YSR. Poem recited by Mr.Ram Kesari made everyone happy and recollect the glorious moments.
Few more guests recollected Dr. YSR and spoke about his achievements and his hard work towards the development of Andhra Pradesh . Everybody signed a sheet with caption saying “united we stand together. You are not alone...” for YS Jagan.
The organizers Dr. Raghava Yangala, Dr. Ram Kesari, Siva Yerragudi, Anand Darla have arranged a Big Screen which showed the everlasting political and personal memories of Dr.YSR, games for kids and lucky dip sponsored by http://ww.indiaevents.info .
All the guests recollected Dr. YSR and said “It’s very sad that he is not with us physically anymore, but his memories, schemes he introduced and the development he did will always be with us. Dr. YSR will be an inspiration for lot of people in the decades to come”. Most importantly everybody supported YS Jagan and wanted to see him as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Suresh Vuyyuru, YSR follower in Bay area attended the event along with his several friends.
People who attended the occasion enjoyed the delicious food served by Sannidhi Indian Restaurant, Pleasanton. The event was very well organized and people appreciated the hospitality of the Organizers.
