However, the month varies from region to region and now, a date seems to have been in the thoughts for the Telugu folks as well. It is heard that the death of Prabhakar, Vaishnavi’s father has left a deep impact on many people and a new movement is being planned by few groups in Vijayawada.
They are planning to commemorate the Fathers Day in Andhra Pradesh on February 2nd, the day Prabhakar passed away unable to bear the loss of his daughter. While some are really convinced with the idea, how effectively will this be carried till it will be achieved remains to be seen.
