The bifurcation over many issues has been contentious, but here is one department in which the division of assets happened without any hitch: the canine department.
Andhra Pradesh got 10 sniffer dogs and Telangana got 8 sniffer dogs based on population.
The division was made easy after dog no 19 died recently at Machilipatnam and was buried with official honors. That brought the overall figure to eighteen and made the division that much easier.
All these dogs are trained at the ‘Dog Academy’ located in Moinabad, Hyderabad.
Now AP should pitch for an academy of its own and interestingly it would come in handy not just for dogs, but can also be used to train some of the traitors to the Samaikhyandhra cause.
