'Evadesina Batara'- An Album For Charity
Evadesina bataraa music album has been launched at Music World, Banjara hills in the presence of Tollywood bigwigs and politicians. Deccan Hearts foundation a charitable organization formed by young Indians who believe, change can be achieved by action and not just by talking, writing or blogging, have produced this album. The USP of the album is to give voice to the emotions of migrants across the globe. The sale proceedings of the same will be used to bring back the victims of gulf migration, who are stuck, suffering in gulf jails for the lack of funds to return back to their families. Ramesh Yadma an associate of Sekhar Kammula has penned the lyrics out of his personal experiences, Yash Nag who has previously worked with A.R.Rahman for Jai-Ho concerts, has composed the scintillating music, Nag Ashwin another associate of Sekhar Kammula has directed the title song video and has been produced by M.Prashanth Reddy.

Charitable Cause: A few like minded people who share a concern for downtrodden and like to do something to help them, have formed a charitable organization called “Deccan Hearts”. Evadesina bata raa is our first attempt in that direction.  For every one of us who have worked on this Album, it was not all about doing something different but also to make a difference. Yes, we want to make a difference by pledging the proceedings from the sale of the album to bring back home some of the victims of gulf migration. Many of us do not know that our Indian Brethren migrating to Gulf countries sell everything they have only to have a chance of a better life for themselves and their loved ones. However lured by greedy agents most of them end up in the Gulf either on a short term visa making them ineligible to work or on completely fake documents. Most of these people end of in gulf prisons not knowing what to do or how to come back home. To top that, our Government does nothing to help these unfortunate people. Few months back a popular news channel has taken up this cause and brought back a couple of hundred people to India. Inspired by it, we planned to do something similar to help such desperate people who need our help more than anything.
