In Western countries, a common trend is noticed among the teenage girls. They generally have sex during their intermediate level and by the time they get to their early 20s they become quite serious about life and career. A recent survey has revealed that the same trend has started in India now.
The survey reveals that a significant percentage of girls are indulging in sex at senior school level and then getting responsible about life at a later stage. This phenomenon is increasing in cities and high society groups. Conventionally people get married at the age of 30 and they expect career, family, intimacy and lovemaking all at once.
This is not happening practically due to today’s fast paced life and is leading to breakups. With girls also deciding to work the lifestyle has changed. Earlier they were enjoying only the pleasures of life than handling pressures of life but now it is different.
All this may be shocking for conventionalists but practical for rationalists. Fortunately, the percentage of such girls is quite limited because Indian society on a whole is yet to evolve in a big way in terms of sexual relations and life’s expectations, especially from a girl’s perspective.
