On the eve of March 22, Saturday, more than 200 enthusiastic supporters of Smt. Kaatam Arunamma met in Dallas city, America to support her MLA candidature for Kanigiri constituency, Prakasam dist. She has been with YSR Congress Party from the day the party was launched.
This spectacular event was arranged and supported by Dallas NRIs at the Marriott Hotels & Cascades Events Center. People from many places in America, like Chicago, Atlanta, California, Charlotte, Washington, New Jersey, New York, Florida, Phoenix etc flew in to endorse Smt. Arunamma’s candidature. Alumni of Harvard, JNTU, AP Residential Schools and Junior Colleges were present and shared their views in support of YSRCP party and Smt. Kaatam Arunamma.
Mr. Dasari Anand Yadav, representing Dallas NRIs started the meeting with a warm welcome to the chief guests and attendees.
Mr. Krishna Reddy Koduru and Mr. Ramana Reddy Kristapati representing Dallas YSRCP spoke about the party, Mr. Y.S JaganMohan Reddy’s leadership and his passion to serve and develop the state.
Mr. Irfan Alam, a Harvard University Alumni, Founder and Chairman of SammaaN Foundation, a Social Worker and US Presidential Summit invitee, attended the meeting and supported Ms. Arunamma’s candidature. Mr. Vinod Yadav, another Harvard University Alumni, who is planning to contest against Mr. Rahul Gandhi in Amethi, joined via video conference from India to endorse Smt. Arunamma. Mr. Srinivasa Sayana from Santanuthalapadu constituency mentioned about Smt. Arunmamma’s achievements as ZP Chairperson and her affinity towards serving the society.
Several others shared their views on Mr. Ramdhan Yadav’s Entrepreneurial Skills, walking an extra mile in helping them and the Community. Everybody supported and expressed the need of making Sri. JaganMohan Reddy as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Smt. Arunamma joined the meeting through video conference, given her message and thanked everyone for their support to Sri. JaganMohan Reddy, YSR Congress party and her.
Smt. Kaatam Arunamma is well known in Prakasam dist, who has created history by becoming the first female Zilla Parishad Chair Person in 2006. She believes that if women move ahead with determination, nothing can stop them from achieving anything. She thrived to make Prakasam District Zilla Parishad as one of the best in the state. Her goals for Kanigiri constituency are, eradicating Fluoride problems, extending the reach of Veligandla project and completing Paletipalli dam to irrigate 50,0000 acres land, brining drinking water supply to entire constituency, promoting education, welfare of women, children, old and disabled people. The difference she made in the lives of numerous people can be perceived, if we talk to those people.
YadavMahaSabha USA president Rajeev Yadav and chief patron Mr Virender Yadav endorsed Smt Kaatam Arunamma’s candidature for Kanigiri Seat and extended support to YSRCP.
Smt. Kaatam Arunamma is a staunch supporter of Late Hon CM Sri. Y.S RajaSekhar Reddy and young leader Sri. Y.S JaganMohan Reddy. During odarpu yatra in Prakasam dist, Smt. Arunamma accompanied Jagan for the entire period of 25 days. As an in charge of Kanigiri constituency, Smt. Arunamma was able to successfully get 35,000 new memberships, exceeding the target of 25,000.
