Though in today’s times ladies have locked their kitchens and are heading to corporate offices to make their own careers, there are still a good percentage of ladies who love to be homemakers and keep the family intact. And these housewives are now coming across an interesting situation at their homes.
It is heard that they are being visited by Electricity Board bill collectors. Sources say they are stating the department is not having funds to give their salaries. Due to that, though the last date for payment is in 21st or 22nd they are coming from 15th onwards and following up with the housewives on payment.
When asked about it, they are reportedly saying “What to do madam? salaries will not come for us if you don’t pay. Only if you give we can deposit, after all auditing and other things are done only then we will get our pay during first week. There is no money in APSEB Khazana.” That is the state of our Electricity board folks!
