The economic situation of India is currently in doldrums and the way things are going, it doesn’t look like the recovery is going to happen very soon. The prime concern is the depleting value of Indian rupee. While our politicians are useless and will not do anything about it what we as citizens can do about it?
Firstly, the craze for foreign goods must be reduced and this would mean the imports must be brought down. Secondly, the local made products should be encouraged and if they are bought in good quantities, the surplus can be used for exports. If that happens the income will come and market value will rise.
Another important aspect is the gold reserve. For now, the ladies must refrain from buying gold and jewellery for few months and this will bring some balance. All this is going to be a long shot process but unless the citizens don’t take initiative this country cannot be saved from further doom.
