The winter season has begun and this is the time when girls tend to take several precautions. Their handbags are filled with moisturising creams, lip guards, Vaseline etc. They would make sure that sweaters or scarfs are also ready on hand. But surprisingly, that doesn’t seem to be the situation in Bangalore which is seeing a rather severe winter.
The talk among the Bangalore residents is “Gone are the days when girls were wearing sweaters or taking protection from the cold. Now they are feeling warm by having one or two pegs of whisky daily. This is seen more commonly among girls who are working in call centres, especially in the night shifts.”
They add “The girls start off with a light peg daily and eventually they are increasing the quota. While their logic of keeping warm is okay, the problem is they tend to have few extra rounds and become tipsy. That tends to create few problems. As it is, there are many who are shocked with girls resorting to hard liquor in the name of cool climate.”
