The bodies of a mother and daughter, who tragically lost their lives in a road accident in Portland, USA, on Sunday morning, are being transported to their native village of Konakanchi in Penuganchiprolu Mandal of NTR district for their final rites.
Kamatham Geetanjali, aged 32, along with her husband Naresh and their six-year-old daughter Hanika and son Brahman, were traveling in a car when the accident occurred.
Sadly, Hanika passed away at the scene, while Geetanjali succumbed to her injuries on Monday. Naresh and Brahman sustained injuries and are currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Portland.
Arrangements are being made by the family members to bring the bodies of Geetanjali and Hanika to Konakanchi for their cremation ceremony.
