BEST & FIRE Academy conducts Workshop on Stocks

Springfield, New Jersey, USA: Telugu people around the world are excelling in many sectors such as medicine, IT, real estate et al. How about stock market? For many people, stocks are still enigmatic while for others, stocks are a taboo.

For some, stocks are a gamble while for others, risky. However, all these people are missing out on significant wealth growth because stock market is one of the best performing sectors historically.

The goal of BEST & FIRE Academy, a not-for-profit educational group run by passionate traders, is to educate, empower and enrich. To remove the stigma associated with stock market and encourage women & kids to excel in stock markets, BEST & FIRE Academy has been conducting educational webinars on stock trading for the past 6 years.

More than 2000 active traders regularly participate, collaborate, and consistently beat S&P 500. Every year these traders also meet and exchange ideas in workshops. This year more than 500 traders congregated in New Jersey despite hurricane Ida and exchanged ideas in the third national workshop conducted from September 3rd to 6th, 2021 for 4 days. All participants were fully vaccinated and followed strict Covid protocols as guided by doctors.

Many topics from technical analysis, fundamental analysis, futures, cryptos, pre-IPO's and behavioral finance were covered by experts from wall street banks, fund managers and academic institutions. Special sessions were conducted on options trading - puts, calls, strangles, straddles, calendars, butterflys and diagonals.

Attendees immensely liked the topics on retirement education such as IRA, 401K, Roth's and 529's. Risk Management, Portfolio Management and Position Sizing were instructed by real traders. Topics such as cognitive biases, emotional biases and cognitive dissonance enthralled women & nextgen kids alike.

Eminent entrepreneurs & industry stalwarts such as Subu Kota, Dr. Sai Kolla, Uday Bhaskar Kotte, Sekhar Puli, Dr Venkat Nagireddi & Andy Paluri graced the banquet night and hailed the efforts of BEST & FIRE Academy.

Speakers were felicitated for sharing their knowledge pro bono and imparting 25 hours of practical training on charts. This lavish workshop was fully funded and sponsored by Subu Kota, Venkat Yerubandi, Vijay Ramisetti, Omprakash Nakka, Chandra Sekhar Nallam, Ravi Varre, Sagar Lagisetti, Vijay Gudiseva, Dr Surya Raguthu, Satya Balla, Phani Mutyala, Suresh Chilamkurty and many other donors.

BEST & FIRE workshop organizers Venkat Yerubandi, Vijay Ramisetti, Jay Kumar Chimata & Hari Kuragayala emphasized the essence of financial education as a life skill that needs to be learnt by everyone. Attendees profusely thanked speakers & volunteers who worked hard for countless hours to make this workshop a grand success. The sumptuous food for all 4 days was catered by Mirchi Restaurants of New Jersey.
