We, around 250 San Francisco Bay Area Telangana NRI's have gathered in Sunnyvale (Fair Oaks West Club House) on Sunday, Dec 27th, 2009 to discuss about recent developments that have taken place in the Delhi and everyone read it as deliberate delayed tactics in creation of Telangana state. We consider this being yet another U-turn on Telangana issue as it was in the past by Govt of India. Therefore, everyone called for indefinite peaceful agitation by all parts of telangana society till Telangana state creation is announced.
BayArea telangana NRI's are proudly welcoming the recent formation of "political,Students,professors,empolyees and other JAC" with all the concerned political outfits. We owe our full support to JAC leaders to take this movement to a success. And, Bay Area Telangana NRI's cautioned political leaders not to fight in JAC and it would derail overall process as it was done in the past. They have urged for real and true Telangana spirit in all political leaders.
Bay Area Telangana NRI's urge to all students, employees, youth and concerned people to conduct peaceful demonstrations till an independent Telangana state is declared. They have requested JAC to call for volunteer "Telanagana" name on all shop boards by the vendors and merchants. As needed we should conduct non-cooperate movement for all non-telangana products and as necessary stall the administration but no violence.
Bay Area Telangana NRI's condoled death of Telanganites in the agitation and urges youth to be resilient for the greater cause of "Telangana". Telangana NRI's also condemn high handed operations of police and state government in the Osmania University Campus. We urge the government to recall the police forces, reopen hostels and universities therefore Telangana students were given an opportunity to demonstrate peacefully.
San Francisco Bay Area Telangana NRI's are planning to conduct volunteer food distribution on new years eve at Livermore Temple, California to show their solidarity and support to "Telangana state formation". Telangana Political JAC Chairman Dr. M. Kodandaram spoke to the audience for few minutes on the importance of the current movement and how to take this forward with the help of Telangana NRI's.
Every one took pledge to support Telangana,and also Allam Chaitanya sung a song on telangana and everyone repeated after him. Various speakers spoke about importance of Telangana movement/struggle/literature, exploitation of elite circles, and many telangana people sacrifices.
