Sai devotees are flocking to Sai Datta Peetam in South Plainfield, NJ to witness the marvellous Saibaba's live like statue. Sri Raghu Sankaramanchi garu started Sai Datta Peetam with noble intention of provide free services to Sai devotees and serve the needy by donating clothes and food regularly.
This Sunday May 4th, Sai Datta Peetam is stepping into yet another important phase. New Pancha Loha Utsava Vigraha's of Sri Seetha Rama Parivar, Sri Ramaa sahitha Sathyanarayana Swamy and Sri Valli Deva Sena Sahitha Subramanya Swami and Ayyappa Swamy will inaugarated. Ganapathi Pooja will start at 8:00 AM along with Sankalpam for Maha Yagnam. Later the events Utsava Vigraha Adhivasam, Utsava Vigraha Mula Mantra Homam and Utsava Vigraha Abhishekam will be conducted.
Another important and most auspicious event of the day is Starting of Lalitha Sahasra Nama Stotra Parayana Mahayagnam where Sri Lalitha Sahasranaamam is recited one hundred thousand times, i.e one lakh times. The goal of this Mahayagnam is "Sarve Jana Sukhino Bhavantu."
We all wish the best for us, family, society, and we do have noble desires in the same lines. We do our best to achieve the goals but we also need DIVINE help to guide us through. Sri Lalitha Devi who forever is ocean of peace, on reciting her name helps us discipline our mind & body to guide our direction to peace.
So come witness this grand event that is followed by MahaPrasadam.
Devotees should be able to register to Lalitha Sahasra naamam event from today before May 18th 2014 via http://saidattanj.org/srimatha.html and submit the signup form online or by calling peetham @ 732-809-1200 or 516-359-8178 or Email to [email protected] . Devotees can decide on number of times (it can be 1,or 2, or 5, or 25, or 50, or 100 or 250 or any #) they would like to recite Sri Lalitha Sahasranama in next 100 days. Before the start of the daily recital one should be reciting sankalpam provided by Sai Datta Peetham.
Every Friday, there will be a group that would recite Sahasranama @ 7 PM in Sai Datta Peetham, and would recommend anyone around to participate in here. Anyone not nearby can watch it live @ manatv.net and chant along.
