D-day has finally come. With Sachin Tendulkar going to play his ultimate Test match on Friday at Wankhede stadium in his home turf, it's mixed reactions of joy, curiosity and heartbreaking.
But no doubt, this is going to be another milestone in the history of Indian Cricket and also, World Cricket.
Perhaps, never in the history of the game, any cricketer's farewell match or series created such hysteria, craze, buzz created with Sachin's farewell.
In his penultimate Test match- 199th Test match- at the Eden Gardens, Master's fans had disappointed as Sachin scored just 10 before getting out to a litigious decision in the first innings. Whereas, Sachin didn't get chance to bat in second innings as India beat West Indies by an innings and 51 runs.
Now, all eyes on Master Blaster's bat today. A host of celebrities from Bollywood to Tollywood and creme de la creme of society attending to say bid adieu to Sachin, every run scored by him creates deafening sound from audience. And they're going to honour him by giving a standing ovation to man who has made Indians proud through his game. Hats off to Sachin!
